This week was the assessment day for our final assessment on our own arrangement of 'Katyusha'. Even though my group has done the assessment on Tuesday, I still practiced Katyusha and the regular scale because I was a little bit addicted to the song, and I missed playing it with my friends after the assessment.

Next week is our assessment day for our own arrangement of 'Katyusha', so I practiced a lot in my theory and instrument class, and also at my home. And since I always play the scales before playing the song, I also played the g major scale 3 octaves for once.

Since next next week is our final assessment of performing our own arrangement of 'Katyusha', I practiced mainly on Katyusha, and also played the scale before practicing the Katyusha, because if I directly play the song without doing the warming up, I usually make many mistakes while playing the song.

This week was the submission day of booklet, so I didn't have much time to practice on my violin, so I just quickly practiced on the Katyusha arrangement and my regular base warming up scale.

Finally I had something else to practice. We have made our own 'Katyush' arrangement, and according to my group, we decided to play Rilya's arrangement for our final assessment, so I started practicing on the arrangement so that I can fully memorize them during the assessment day.

I played the original melody of 'Katyusha' in my instrument class with piano, but we haven't started working on our arrangement in 'Katyusha', so I had nothing to practice again for this week; thus I just practiced the same thing again as last week.

We didn't have instrument classes at all for this week, so I didn't know what to practice at home, so I continued playing the last number of suzuki vol.5 with the g major scale, which is my regular basic warming up scale.

We were now moving on to our next assessment of group presentation, and we had many free times for our instrument class. I honestly didn't know that to practice, so I just practiced the same thing as last week.

We had our solo singing assessment this week, so we didn't have much instrument class. Therefore I just continued practicing on what I was practicing last week.

It was Week 1 and we actually did nothing for this week in our instrumnet class, so I just practiced a scale and a song that I wanted to play from Suzuki Vol.5 from the 1st semester.

Term 3 Week 11

• Theory Class

- Tuesday: Today was the assessment day of playing our own arrangement of a Russian Song 'Katyusha'. I was grouped with Rilya, Pinka, Nigel and JB, and we used Rilya's arrangement for our assessment. At first, we did some practices before doing the real assessment. I had to fully memorize the sheet of arrangement because I had to have some more time to memorize them completely. Luckily, I was able to fully memorize the arrangement plus the intro and the ending, so all of our group mates were able to do the performance by memorizing the arrangement. I think our group did a great job in our assessment, because most part went well as we practiced. There was a very little mistake in the ending though. When we practiced, we planned to play the ending directly after repeating the song 4 times. However Pinka and I had a pause after repeating the song 4 times, so when Rilya played the beat with her guitar twice, Pinka and I were able to start the ending together and finish the performance safely. I don't think anyone noticed that we had that mistake, and we didn't seem to have a mistake, so I was glad that Pinka, Rilya and I had a good communication and team work even if we weren't talking to each other during the performance. 

- Wednesday: Since we are all done with our assessments, we basically had a free time for this session. We first discussed about our due date for MDW booklet and our reflection and videos on our blog. Honestly, I am very stressed with this stage, because I am trying my best to finish them on time, and I never submitted them late, however my teachers are keep giving me the pressure to finish earlier, and they are offering me to submit them earlier than the dead line, even though at first they arranged the schedule for us to take more time to work on them. 

- Thursday: I didn't have music class today because I had a personal schedule related to my family. 

• Instrument Class:

- Tuesday: We used our theory class today to practice for our arrangement of 'Katyusha' before we perform the real one, so we used the instrument class today to perform our real assessment in our theory class. Therefore technically we didn't have our instrument class today.

- Wednesday: Since we also had a free time in our theory class after finishing all of our assessments, we also had a free time in our instrument class too. Therefore I went to Rilya's class (guitar class) to play piano with her, and I also learned some chords and techniques and a song by playing with guitar. I was always hoping to learn guitar, so I was very happy that Mr.John and Rilya supported me to play the basic things with guitar.

- Thursday: I didn't have music class today because I had a personal schedule related to my family. 

Term 3 Week 10

• Theory Class

- Tuesday: Today was Nyepi Holiday

- Wednesday: We practiced for our Katyusha again for the last time because next week is our assessment on performing on it.

- Thursday: Nothing special happened today because we only spent our time playing our instruments.

• Instrument Class:

- Tuesday: Today was Nyepi Holiday

- Wednesday: We didn't do anything much today for instrument class because we've already played our instruments in practicing Katyusha.

- Thursday: Nothing special happened in instrument class either today, so I just played piano, and spent my time with my friends singing. 

Term 3 Week 9

• Theory Class

- Tuesday: We practiced on our arrangement in Russian music, Katyusha. My group was me, Nigel, JB for violin and cello, Pinka for the piano, and RIlya for the guitar.

- Wednesday: During the theory class, we continued working on MDW booklet, because we had to submit them for Mr. John to check our progress and give suggestions on some part.

- Thursday: Mr. John made a intro part for our arrangement, so that we don't need to start playing Katyusha right away. 

• Instrument Class:

- Tuesday: We didn't have instrument class today because we've been spending the whole time practicing on our arrangement.

- Wednesday: Today we didn't have instrument class because we had our practice on our arrangement in Russian music in theory classroom according to our group members.

- Thursday: We all didn't have instrument class again because today we had to practice the arrangement with the intro. 

Term 3 Week 8

• Theory Class

- Tuesday: Today we learned about Tetrachords with Mr. John. He taught us about the lower and higher tetrachords, and he also taught us about the major and minor tetrachords.

- Wednesday: Today was the submission day of our home project, making a booklet about the Russian music, similar to our presentation. Luckily I was able to finish it on time.

- Thursday: Today we just discussed about our trip to Singapore, but since I'm not going, I'm not really involved in it. Also, I've submitted the finale for Russian music arrangement.

• Instrument Class

- Tuesday: We only had few minutes on instrument class today, so I just played Katyusha with piano

- Wednesday: I've played Katyusha by my own (the arrangement I've made), and heard Jason and Rico playing Canon.

- Thursday: Today I just basically listened to Jason and Rico practicing on Canon, so I also played the melody with piano. 

Term 3 Week 7

• Theory Class:

- Tuesday: Today, the last group did their presentation (which was Darren, Matthew and Rico's group). Then, Mr. John gave us our MDW booklet, so I think I have to catch up it quickly.

- Wednesday: Today Mr. Joh was absent, so mr. Herry asked us to spend our time to catch up everything in MDW booklet, because we are very far behind the dates. 

- Thursday: Actually today's supposed to be the due date of the draft of 'Katyusha' arrangement finale, but since I was absent last Wednesday, Mr. John gave me more time to work on it.

• Instrument Class

- Tuesday: We didn't have instrument class today because we've spent our time listening to last group's presentation.

- Wednesday: We didn't have instrument class today because we've spent time working on MDW.

- Thursday: Today we only had few minutes on our instrument class, so I've spent the time playig piano, trying the Katyusha notations for violin with piano. 

Term 3 Week 6

• Theory Class:

- Tuesday: At first, we've spent some time working (mostly planning) for our presentation because Thursday is our presentation day. But I wasn't feeling well today, so I'm not sure if I can come tomorrow.

- Wednesday: I wasn't able to come to school today, because I felt very sick yesterday, and yesterday night I got very sick, so I wasn't able to come to school today.

- Thursday: It was the presentation day today. I think our group have done quite well, but while Mr. John was just watching the presentation, Mr. Herry asked us many questions, so I tried my best to answer all questions.

• Instrument Class

- Tuesday: We spent some time o instrument class today to get the violin sheet of 'Katyusha' from Mr. Sadrakh, because we have to start working on our arrangement in Russian Song.

- Wednesday: I didn't come to school today because I was very sick yesterday night, and I wasn't able to get cured in less than 1 day.

- Thursday: Today we didn't have instrument class because we spent all our time doing the presentation, and answering all questions asked from Mr. Herry. 

Term 3 Week 5

• Theory Class:

- Tuesday: We didn't have music class on Tuesday because we all had ISA Tests in school, which is a very important task for our grades. 

- Wednesday: We didn't have music class on Wednesday because we all had ISA Tests in school, which is a very important task for our grades.

- Thursday: Today Mr. John was absent, so Mr. Herry Substituted us again. He taught us in arranging a song, and gave us a melody of "Katyusha', so that we can arrange them in our own style.

• Instrument Class:

- Tuesday: We didn't have music class on this week. because on Tuesday and Wednesday, we all had ISA tests, and on Thursday, we have spent all our time with Mr. Herry, about our next assessment on arranging a Russian Music, 'Katyusha'. 

- Wednesday: We didn't have music class on this week. because on Tuesday and Wednesday, we all had ISA tests, and on Thursday, we have spent all our time with Mr. Herry, about our next assessment on arranging a Russian Music, 'Katyusha'. 

- Thursday: We didn't have music class on this week. because on Tuesday and Wednesday, we all had ISA tests, and on Thursday, we have spent all our time with Mr. Herry, about our next assessment on arranging a Russian Music, 'Katyusha'. 

Term 3 Week 4

• Theory Class

- Tuesday: Mr. John introduced us with our new assessment, which is making a power point presentation about Russian music and composers. I was grouped with Pinka and Rilya like I was grouped in term 1.

- Wednesday: Mr. John was absent so Mr. Herry substituted us. He gave us the entire time planning on our presentation, so me, Pinka and Rilya discussed on what we're going to put in the presentation and divided our work.

- Thursday: Mr. John gave us a copy of 'Katyusha' because we will be having some assessments on it.

• Instrument Class

- Tuesday: We did nothing at all in our instrument class today, so I just played piano because I was bored. I played a song played in the movie 'Twilight', called 'Bella's Lullaby'.

- Wednesday: We didn't have instrument class today because we spent all whole class planning for our power point presentation, and planning on how we're going to work together.

- Thursday: Today we didn't really do much in our instrument class, but Mr. Sadrakh taught us with some techniques, like playing violin with 2nd and 3rd position, which was very hard to do.

Term 3 Week 3

• Theory Class:

- Tuesday: We did our "Dark Eyes" performance today, which was our first assessment in term 3. It was a solo singing assessment, and I think I did quite well because I was able to memorize the lyrics and the melody.

- Wednesday: Mr. John gave us our score for the solo singing assessment "Dark Eyes". He gave me 10 out of 10, so I was really happy, because during the assessment day, I was quite nervous if I forget the lyrics while singing it.

- Thursday: We didn't come to school today because it was the public holiday.

• Instrument Class:

- Tuesday: Today we had the solo singing assessment so we didn't have our instrument class.

- Wednesday: After I've received the score for the solo singing assessment, we went to our instrument class. However we mostly talked about our assessments, and so I only played some scales.

- Thursday: We didn't come to school today because it was the public holiday. 

Term 3 Week 2

• Theory Class:

- Tuesday: Mr.John introduced two new songs, and it was Katyusha and the Dark eyes. Both of them are Russian songs because our topic for this term is learning about music in the Russian Revolutions, and its impact to the society until now. We tried listening to the songs and deciding which one will be better for our assessment. 

- Wednesday: We've decided to sing the Dark eyes because Katyusha is too fast for us to catch up, and the pronunciation of Russian language itself is very hard for us to prepare for our solo singing assessment.

- Thursday: We didn't have class today because we had to stay home due to the flood.

• Instrument Class:

- Tuesday: We only talked about our vacation again for the instrument class today.

- Wednesday: We did nothing at all today, but we only talked about our trip to Singapore and other things that are not related to music. 

Term 3 Week 1

• Theory Class

- Thursday: It was the first day of music and the first day of school too. Since it is the first day of school, we didn't do much for today. We just discussed about our trip to Singapore during the Term 3 break.

• Instrument Class

- Thursday: We didn't have any instrument class today, because we've spent all of our time talking about our vacations during the term 2 holiday, and our plan to touring Singapore.
